Our Help & Our Hope

...the LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. —Psalms 33:18-20 (NLT)

“With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes.” (Psalms 60:12 NLT) In Isaiah 41:13 (TPT), He says: “I am Yahweh, your mighty God! I grip your right hand and won’t let you go! I whisper to you: ‘Don’t be afraid; I am here to help you!’” “And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.” (Psalms 39:7 NLT) “Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.” (Psalms 25:5 NLT) For everyone who knows your wonderful name keeps putting their trust in you. They can count on you for help no matter what. O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. (Psalm 9:10 TPT) Put your hope in the Lord, and wait for His help.

You answer our prayers with amazing wonders and with awe-inspiring displays of power. You are the righteous God who helps us like a father. Everyone everywhere looks to you, for you are the confidence of all the earth, even to the farthest islands of the sea. —Psalm 65:5 (TPT)
