Surrounded!
In Second Kings, the king of Aram was warring against Israel. When the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. But the prophet Elisha told him, “Don’t be afraid! For there are more on our side than on theirs!” Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes and let him see!” The LORD opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. (See 2 Kings 6:8, 6:16-17)
May we have eyes to see that there are more with us, than are with the enemy. Remember, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) The LORD not only dwells in us, but He surrounds us, forever. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalms 124:8 NASB1995) Nothing is too difficult for Him. Amen.
