Lead Me to The Rock
“Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” —Psalms 61:1-2 (NASB1995)
No matter where we are, we can always cry out for our heavenly Father’s help. He is faithful to lead us and guide us along the path of everlasting life. Stay close to Him. He alone is our rock and our salvation. He is a refuge for us, a tower of strength against the enemy. Dwell in His tent forever. Take refuge in the shelter of His wings. (See Psalms 61:3-4 NASB1995) Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalms 62:8 AMP)
“He alone is my safe place; his wraparound presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?” —Psalms 62:2 (TPT)
