Completely Dependable

May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he'll do it!
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (The Message)

We have been called and chosen by our heavenly Father, and He is completely dependable. If we fall, He is there to catch us. He does not sleep and he doesn't slumber. Even if we are unfaithful, He remains faithful (2 Timothy 2:13, NLT). We can be confident that He will do what He says. Every word that goes forth from His mouth accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it (Isaiah 55:11). Trust God and stand on His Word.
