The Rock that is Higher

Hear my cry, O God;
Attend to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psalm 61:1-2 (NKJ)

There is no Rock like our God. He is our Rock of refuge and there is no other. He is strong and immovable, our Redeemer. He takes us by the hand, pulls us out of the muck and mire and leads us to a higher place. God is the strong foundation on which we can stand. Praise the LORD.
