Success Anywhere

But while Joseph was there in the prison, the LORD was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.
Genesis 39:20-22 (NIV)

Joseph was thrown in prison because his master's wife falsely accused of him of attempted rape. However, in the midst of his trials, the LORD was with Joseph and gave him favor. Genesis 39:23 says, the warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph's care, because the LORD was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did." No matter where the winds of adversity may take you, God is with you and He will give you success. Even if you are, emotionally or physically, shut up in a prison cell today, like Joseph, you can still experience victory in the midst of your trials. No wall is high enough to shut out God's love.

At God's appointed time, the king ordered Joseph's release from prison and put him in charge of all the land of Egypt (Genesis 41:41). Keep following God and He will lead you to higher ground. He will lift you up in due time. May His favor and kindness rest on you, all of your days.
