It was for FREEDOM!

Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” —Luke 7:22-23 (NKJV)

John sent two of his disciples to Jesus, saying, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” (Luke 7:10). Let there be NO doubt, Jesus is the One! He is the only One who shed His blood and gave His life, to set us free from sin, death and hell. This Jesus was sent to heal the brokenhearted, and to proclaim liberty to the captives (Isaiah 61:1-2). Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8:36)! Hallelujah!
