Peace to You!
Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” —Luke 24:36 (NKJV)
“Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts?” (Luke 24:38) Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you, if you have made the LORD, Most High, your refuge, and your dwelling place (Psalm 91:5-8). Jesus stands in your midst today and He speaks peace, to you. Abide in Him.
