Present Grace & Future Glory

For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. —Psalm 84:11 (AMP)

The LORD is a Sun and He makes His face shine upon you (Numbers 6:25). He is a shield to all who trust in Him (2 Samuel 22:31). He will protect you from the fiery arrows of the enemy. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You! (Psalm 84:12, NIV)
