Sharp & Powerful

God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. —Hebrews 4:12 (MSG)

God’s Word is sharp enough to cut through any doubt, defensive attitudes or walls of offense. We are to lay on His altar and present ourselves to Him as living sacrifices. As a skilled surgeon, our heavenly Father uses His Word to cut away anything that is not of Him. As we expose ourselves to the Word, it will cleanse us and wash away the flaws and imperfections. In all your ways submit to Him and let His Word have utmost authority in your life. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9 NKJV)
