This Hope

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, —Hebrews 6:19 (NIV)

We have this living hope in Almighty God and all that He has made available to us through Christ (not only abundant life here on earth but eternal life in His Presence). This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls (Hebrews 6:19 NLT). It gives us weight to remain stable in God and not be tossed to and fro by the undercurrents of life. When adverse winds arise, this anchor will keep us from drifting away.

This hope goes behind the veil, and enters God’s inner sanctuary, right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us. (Hebrews 6:20 MSG)

Be Captivated by Christ
