What a God!

What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! —1 Peter 1:3-4 (MSG)

We are abundantly blessed because God is with us and He is for us. Thank God for the brand-new life we have in Christ. Praise Him for His breath of life in your lungs and the new mercies He poured out on you this morning. He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. We can shed what is left of the old, dead life and embrace what God is doing in our lives today. What He has planned for us is much better than anything we could ever think or imagine.
