Living Water

“For My people have committed two evils: They have abandoned (rejected) Me, the fountain of living water, and they have carved out their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” —Jeremiah 2:13  (AMP)

When we try to do things our own way, apart from God, we are utilizing a broken cistern that cannot hold water. The result will be futile and empty. Let us receive the Living Water from our heavenly Father. Water brings life to things and causes them to grow. It washes and it cleanses. Open your heart and receive the living water of God. Jesus said, “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38 NKJV)

“If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” (John 4:10  NKJV)
