His Parting Gift

I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left—feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught. —John 14:27 (MSG)

When we get caught up in fear and worry, we are allowing the enemy to steal our peace. We can experience peace in the midst of chaos because in Christ, we have a constant companion, His Presence, dwelling inside of us. We have the Spirit of a conquering King. Keep your eyes on Jesus, be led by the Holy Spirit and you can be confident that He will see you through.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all. —2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NLT)
