He Chose You

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. —John 15:16 (NASB)

Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. (Ephesians 1:4) Don't wander through life aimlessly, being distracted and taking detours. We have been chosen and appointed for a higher purpose. God has us on earth for such a time as this, to fulfill the plans He has for these times we are living right now. Stay focused. We are called according to His purpose. Don't let distractions carry you away from the great work our heavenly Father has for you. He chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil, fruit that will last through the fire of adversity and remain forever. Be a fruit bearer.
