He is by your side

Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” —Hebrews 13:5 (MSG)

Jesus is our blessed assurance. Material things will not last and only Jesus can truly satisfy. God will never fail you, nor abandon you. Even when He seems far away, know that He is right beside you. And when you can’t see Him working, you can be assured that He is working everything together for good to bring about His perfect plan and purpose for your life. So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6 NLT)
