Speak Life
“O Sovereign LORD,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.”
Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the LORD! —Ezekiel 37:3-4 (NLT)
In Ezekiel 31:1, the Spirit of the LORD carried Ezekiel to a valley filled with dry bones. In Ezekiel 31:7-8, Ezekiel spoke the message as instructed by God and the bones came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons. Then muscles and flesh formed over the bones. Then skin formed to cover their bodies. In Ezekiel 37:9-10, He spoke the message as the LORD commanded, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet—a great army.
Just as the LORD had Ezekiel speak life into dead bones, you can speak life, and the Creator of life itself will restore what is dead in your life, in your heart, in your relationships, etc. For nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37 CSB) …the word of God will never fail.” (Luke 1:37 NLT) This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! (Ezekiel 37:5 NLT)
