The Gift of Peace

“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous! —John 14:27 (TPT)

Our heavenly Father is Jehovah-Shalom, the LORD is peace. We can live in peace because our loving God is our Source and He cares for us. He doesn't give like the world. He has given us everlasting peace. God is our Provider. He forsees all of our needs, and provides all that we need. Jesus, the Prince of Peace gave us the gift of His perfect peace. Don't let the enemy rob you of peace. Instead, let the peace of God keep you calm in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.

Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! —Romans 15:13  (TPT)
