Set Your Hope

As for the rich in this present world, instruct them not to be conceited and arrogant, nor to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly and ceaselessly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. —1 Timothy 6:17 (AMP)

Set your hope on God. The things of this world are temporary, but our great and awesome God is eternal and His Word stands forever. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:5 NLT) The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9 NASB) 

…so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, —Philippians 2:10 (NASB)
