Be Still!

Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth. —Psalm 46:10 (TPT)

In Psalm 46:10 the Message Bible says, “Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything.” Understand that our mighty God is above everything. He is above the current circumstances of this world, and He is above your current personal situation. Pause from busyness, and take a long loving look at the great “I AM”. Be still before the LORD. Center your thoughts on YAHWEH, Who He is, and all He has done. His love for you never fails, Our heavenly Father is mindful of everything that concerns you. Instead of being worried and anxious, be calm and confident. Psalm 37:7 (AMP) says, do not fret, whine, or agonize. As you cease striving, have an attitude of patience and trust in God. Trust in His goodness, His ability and His faithfulness.

Jesus said, “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me..” —John 14:1 (NASB)
