Submit

So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. —James 4:7 (AMP)

It is only in submitting to the authority of God in our lives, that we are able to resist the devil and stand firm against him. …when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8 NLT) So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. (James 4:7 MSG)

And pray that we’ll be rescued from these scoundrels who are trying to do us in. I’m finding that not all “believers” are believers. But the Master never lets us down. He’ll stick by you and protect you from evil. —2 Thessalonians 3:3 (MSG)
