Gain New Strength

But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. —Isaiah 40:31 (AMP)

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. (Isaiah 40:28-29 NLT) The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. (See 2 Chronicles 16:9)
