There is No Other

John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing. So he sent his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?” —Matthew 11:2-3 (NLT)

The woman *said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” (John 14:25-26 NASB) Jesus is the Expected One, the Messiah. There is no other. Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6 NASB)

“Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome…” —Revelation 5:5 (NASB)
