All We Need

Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood— may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. —Hebrews 13:20-21 (NLT)

God has given us all we need to experience a more abundant life and to reflect God’s true nature on the earth. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. (2 Peter 1:3 NLT) However, we must receive it and walk it out. Let us put on the full armor of God, so that we will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil, (See Ephesians 6:11-18), and walk in the victory Jesus has gained for us. In Him, you are not powerless and pitiful but strong and victorious.
