Celebrate!

And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” —Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)

Let us remember to celebrate all the good things the LORD has done for us and the people He has allowed us to share our lives with. Times of celebration are refreshing and they make the heart glad. Taking time to reflect on what the LORD has done in our lives, helps us to have an attitude of gratitude. May we honor God as the true source of all we have.

I will praise the name of God with song and magnify Him with thanksgiving. —Psalm 69:30 (AMP)
