“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.” —John 15:5 (TPT)

Our union with Jesus is vital. He is the source of all that we need. In union with Him, we receive the living water that nourishes and satisfies. Apart from Jesus we can do nothing of lasting value. As we remain in Him, we receive strength to persevere and power to overcome the pitfalls of life. As we abide in Him, the Holy Spirit works in us and through us and we are able to bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, in all situations and seasons. (See Galatians 5:22-23) Stay connected to Christ and be a fruit-bearer for the Kingdom of God.

Be Captivated by Christ
