Nothing Compares

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. —Philippians 3:8-9a (NLT)

Nothing compares to the immeasurable value of knowing Jesus Christ and embracing Him as Lord, in all of His greatness and glory. May we let go of all that we had dear in this world, and set our affections upon Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. He is Immanuel, God with us. Let us be with Him.

“Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God, will be repaid many times over in this life, and will have eternal life in the world to come.” —Luke 18:29-30 (NLT)
