Great Reward

So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! —Hebrews 10:35 (TPT)

We tend to grow weary when we look back at all we have been through. Instead, look ahead. Hebrews 12:2 (NLT) says Jesus disregarded its shame and endured the cross because of the joy awaiting Him. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Hebrews 12:2b (TPT) says: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9 NLT)

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. —James 1:12 (NLT)
