Listen Carefully

“Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight in abundance.” —Isaiah 55:2 (AMP)

Why spend your time on things of no spiritual benefit? Why use all of your energy and resources on temporal things that have no eternal value? “Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God].” (Isaiah 55:1 AMP) “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.”  (Isaiah 55:3 NLT)

Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. —Isaiah 55:6 (NASB)
