This is the Day

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let’s rejoice and be glad in it. —Psalm 118:24 (NASB)

The LORD had this day written in His book before you had lived a single day. (See Psalm 139:16) Be present each moment of today. God woke you up today because He has a purpose and a plan for this day that includes you. He has gone before you and made a way. Make a choice to rejoice and be glad. So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT)

for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]— 2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP)
