By His Spirit

...’Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of armies. —Zechariah 4:6b (NASB)

“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NLT‬) Victory comes by the Spirit of God, not by our limited human strength. “So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” (Galatians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬)


Guard your heart from any darkness: bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, etc. His light shines through as we walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. ( See Galatians‬ ‭5:22-23‬)


“Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” (Galatians‬ ‭5:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬) Amen.
