Only to Jesus

looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. —Hebrews 12:2 (NASB)

Look only to JESUS, not to a human being or the government. They continually change but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) You can rely on Him. Fix your eyes on Jesus, our risen Savior. “The LORD your God is in your midst, a Warrior who saves.” (See Zephaniah 3:17 AMP). He saves His people from the penalty of their sins. (See Matthew 1:20-23 MSG) Look only to Jesus, our Righteousness, and our Redeemer. Let us look away from all that will distract us, and keep our eyes on Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (See Hebrews 12:2 NLT) Hope in Him, our Healer, and the One who makes us whole.
