Come Out!

Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!” —John 11:43-44 (NLT)

Anything we stay in after the Lord has called us out, is dead. Come forth, out of the dead things. Don’t let the old man keep you bound to things of your past. Be loosed. Jesus has set us free! Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. (2 Corinthians 5:17 NASB) God called us out of darkness so we can experience His marvelous light. He called us out of the grave so we would have life, and have it abundantly. (See John 10:10)
