Real Love

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. —1 John 4:10-12 (NLT)

God loves us, and His love never fails. May we come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and trust in the love He has for us. (See 1 John 4:16 TPT) And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38 NLT)

Let us be imitators of God and extend unfailing love to everyone He brings our way. Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. (Romans 12:9a NLT) Let love and kindness be the motivation behind all that you do. (1 Corinthians 16:14 TPT)
