Powerful Restoration

Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 NLT) After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace will Himself complete, support, strengthen, and establish you. To Him be dominion (power, authority, sovereignty) forever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 5:11 AMP)

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. —2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NLT)
