Stand Firm

Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. —1 Corinthians 16:13 (NLT)

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. (1 Peter 5:8-9a NLT) We stand firm in the faith by believing God and His Son, Christ Jesus. He reigns! Second Corinthians 1:24 (NLT) says: …it is by your own faith that you stand firm. You have to believe in your heart and mind for yourself. Have faith in Jesus. Know that He has already overcome the world and gained the victory for you.

For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. —Hebrews 3:14 (NLT)
