Abide in Him

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. —John 15:4 (NKJV)

When we remain in Jesus, there is a sweet and glorious exchange. In John 16:33, Jesus said, in Him we may have peace. As we lay all our cares at His feet, we experience everlasting peace that is not shaken by the circumstances of this world. Psalm 16:11 says, in His presence is fullness of joy. As we remain in Him, He turns our mourning to joy. 1 John 4:16 (AMP) says, God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. As we remain in His love, the love of God is perfected in us. (See 1 John 4:12) May we live in constant connection to the vine, and the fruit of peace, joy and love will blossom in our hearts and greatly bless those around us.

Be Captivated by Christ
