What is Good?

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you 
except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), and to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]? —Micah 6:8 (NLT)

What is good? The LORD is good. His faithful love endures forever (See Jeremiah 33:11 NLT) It is good to sing praises to our [gracious and majestic] God. (See Psalm 147:1 AMP) ...it is good for me to draw near to God. (See Psalm 73:28 NKJV) It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. (Psalm 92:1 NLT) It is good to proclaim His unfailing love in the morning, His faithfulness in the evening. (See Psalm 92:2 NLT) Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1 NKJV) How good and delightful is a word spoken at the right moment—how good it is! (See Proverbs 15:23 AMP) Let us depart from evil and do good. (See Psalm 34:14 NKJV)

It is good that you take hold of one thing (righteousness) and also not let go of the other (wisdom); for the one who fears and worships God [with awe-filled reverence] will come forth with both of them. —Ecclesiastes 7:18 (AMP)
