New Strength

He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honors him the most. —Psalm 23:3 (TLB)

Yahweh leads us beside quiet and peaceful streams. Instead of continually striving until you are all stressed out and weary, cast your cares on the LORD. Trust Him to handle everything that concerns you and He will renew your strength. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:30-31 NLT)

The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. —Psalm 29:11 (NLT)
