Restoration

When Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before! So the LORD blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning. For now he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.Job 42:10, 12 (NASB1995)

When Job took his eyes off of himself, and prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. May we bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us. (See Luke 6:28 NASB1995) “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you for your offenses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your offenses.”] (Mark 11:25-26 NASB)

In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.1 Peter 5:10 (NLT)
