Not Destroyed

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.  —2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT)

Whatever set of circumstances you face today, know that the situation has come, and it will also pass. Second Corinthians 4:17 says, our troubles are light and momentary. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! Remember, the plans the LORD has for you are good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11) And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NASB1995)
