Believe God

Then the LORD said to him, “No, your servant will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own who will be your heir.” Then the LORD took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith. —Genesis 15:4-6 (NLT)

Abram believed Yahweh, and many years later, at the appointed time, the LORD did for Sarah as He had promised. Well past the age of childbearing, she conceived and bore a son to Abraham in his old age. (See Genesis 21:1-3) Regardless of the circumstances, may we always believe in Yahweh. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; (Hebrews 10:23 NASB1995) He is faithful to fulfill every word He has spoken.

Be Captivated by Christ
