Be Committed & Focused

“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].” —Isaiah 26:3 (AMP)

What or who has captured your attention? Don’t fall for the distractions of our enemy or this world. Being distracted away from the LORD, His will and His Word, will cause us to drift in the wrong direction, away from our heavenly Father. With distance, doubt tends to arise and the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the constantly changing conditions and circumstances of this life. However, when we fix our thoughts on Yahweh, and commit to following Him, He will guard our minds and keep us in perfect and constant peace. Those who trust and take refuge in our mighty God will not be shaken by adverse circumstances, because we know the One Who is above it all.

The LORD is on Your Side
