Lean on The Lord

“I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace. In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order.” —John 16:33 (VOICE)

Don’t be surprised at the corruption that is rampant in the culture of this world. Know that Jesus has already overcome this world and shared His victory with us. The words Jesus spoke to His disciples is for all believers. They are encouraging words of truth, meant to keep us in peace. When you are plagued by trials, troubles and sorrows, turn to Jesus. Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. (Proverbs 3:5 AMPC) Be confident that He will show you the way through it all, and help you triumph, in the midst of your troubles. He gives you strength to endure the struggles. Amen.

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord. So by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. — Hebrews 6:18 (TLV) We have this hope as an anchor of the soul, both firm and steady—a hope that enters the inner place behind the curtain.
