Not Destroyed!

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV)

No matter what comes our way, thank God that we are not crushed, abandoned or destroyed. We may get frustrated, but we don’t give up. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17). No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We are children of God and everyone born of God overcomes the world, because the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world. Amen!
