Rescued & Raised!

God rescued us from dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. He's set us up in the kingdom of the Son he loves so much, the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating.
Colossians 1:13-14 (The Message)

Before I gave my life to Jesus, I walked down one dead-end alley after another, and never read the warning signs posted along the way. I made the same mistakes over and over again, and even fell into some dark dungeons from time to time. But praise God, He rescued us! God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). Our heavenly Father delivered us out of darkness and called us to live in His wonderful light and walk on the path that leads to eternal life. Hallelujah!
