Our Strength and Shield

Praise be to the LORD,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.
Psalm 28:6-7 (NIV)

Just like a mother is attentive to the cry of her newborn baby, the ears of the LORD are always open to hear the cries of His children. Our mighty God is the source of our strength. He is a protective shield around us. We can completely trust our heavenly Father to help us work through the challenges we face. Sing praise to the LORD and let your heart be filled with joy!
