The High & Holy Place

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” —Isaiah 57:15 (NKJV)

Psalm 10:17 (NASB) says the LORD hears the desire of the humble, He strengthens their heart, and inclines His ear to hear their voice. Isaiah 29:19 (NKJV) tells us, “The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD…” James 4:6 (NKJV) says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, (1 Peter 5:6 NKJV). Let us abide in His Presence, in the high and holy place. For we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, (1 Peter 2:9)
