Use the Sword of the Spirit

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; —Ephesian 6:17 (NKJK)

We are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 NLT) Let us fight this spiritual war by using the sword of the Spirit, that is standing on God’s Word. For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NASB)

Even Jesus overcame the devil's temptation by saying: “It is written...” (Matthew 4:4, 4:7, 4:10) May we follow His example.
