He is Our Only Hope

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.” —Jeremiah 17:7 (NKJV)

Those who trust in the LORD will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. (Jeremiah 17:8 NIV) Send out your roots to the stream of living water. The LORD alone is our hope in the day of disaster. (Jeremiah 17:17b NLT) And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:5 NLT) So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalm 31:24 NLT)
